Patricia established Garcia Family Law in 2010 as she was raising her family. She understands that family is sacred. Thus, in helping her clients, she ensures that the client and the client’s family is always the primary focus.

In regards to the reply: in the 328th District Court in Fort Bend County, appointed attorneys APPLY to be added to the list where they’re chosen at random. The only qualifications needed are 50% of their practice is related to family law, 8 hours of continuing education, maintaining office in Ft Bend Co, and attending a training seminar. You were picked at random. Thanks for brining this up because I will be contacting the court to let them know you office (and forcefully bill clients more than $400 per hour to drive over an hour each way to Ft Bend County) from Humble which is not in our county. None of my statements are misrepresented and proof of each has been sent to the state bar in connection to the grievance. Patricia was appointed to us by a judge for our adoption. If we had the opportunity to fire her, we absolutely would have. There was such gross negligence with our case we have filed a formal grievance with the state bar. Not only did Patricia lie in open court about not receiving documentation (sent months prior and there is proof), during the process when she could be bothered to handle our case she caused significant distress to the children she was appointed to represent. She insisted in meeting with them alone which resulted in them crying and believing they’d be forced to live with an adult who lost privileges more than a year before by CPS (and who was signing a voluntary relinquishment so even if they wanted to see her, it wasn’t an option). Patricia was also late to every single meeting and court appearance we had (more than an hour to our final adoption hearing! All of our family and friends were waiting on her to arrive). Patricia called the night before the adoption and demanded an additional $2400 for which she stated she could not provide a bill. Patricia turned what should have been the best day of our lives into the process from hell. RUN!!!!
