If I could put zero stars I would, if I could give anyone advice it would be to find a different attorney, save yourself the money, time amd respect and put it towards someone who wants to help you and delegate for you. I made the mistake of hiring Mrs. Kathy white 2 years ago for my divorce. At the very beginning they told you everything you wanted to hear. Immediately after hiring her it was always act when they wanted you to act and do what they say when they say it even if that means interrupting your job to get them what they want or fill out whatever they wanted right then and there. Which you could see as them being over prepared or eager to get started handling your case for you. But soon you find out that you can’t reach them by phone or email and if you do it’s just the paralegal. Mrs, Kathy white is definitely the attorney to talk down to you like you are of lesser knowledge then her and brushes your questions and concerns away as if they are not what’s important in that moment. After my first mediation it was clear Kathy was not there for my best interest and after countless emails to her and no response I had to fire her in the middle of the case. You would think that is all but upon firing here I asked her for a detailed invoice because with Kathy you pay bi weekly a set amount and at the end of your case whatever she didn’t spend you “get back” well I had been paying Kathryn white for several months and with her only doing some legal paper work and 1 mediation I felt as if there should be some money leftover and if not that would have been fine too. But like any customer you like a invoice you like to see what you paid for , and it’s not unheard of for a customer to ask a business for a receipt. I never got a invoice or detailed expense sheet , and I sent several emails requesting this information and had to not only get a knew attorney for my divorce case but I had to have a attorney to help me try and get in contact with her. Which none of it ever happened she disappeared into thin air. I was from out of the state so I was never able to go to her office but I have a feeling I was not the first or last customer to be very frustrated with this law firm. How a lawyer can take advantage of their client’s like this when they are their customers first line of defense was beyond me. I’m not one to really get on and leave reviews but after 2 years I felt it was time to let others know of this horrible representation and hopefully save someone else the headache and financial pain that I went through with MRS. Kathy LeClaire White.

I am writing this review on my accord based on the services performed. I contacted Kathy White and her team when I required a divorce. In the past, Kathy has helped my family with legal assistance and has performed a great job. She and her staff has helped me understand what I needed to do, and assisted every step of the way. When times got more difficult during my divorce, they were there not only as my legal advisors, but as a friends. Kathy and her staff helped me through another difficult time when my youngest son's father past away soon after the divorce. I was totally lost, and they were always available to give me very detailed information on handling the legal aspects of his passing. I'm so very thankful to have had an awesome team available to help me through these rough times. This road wasn't easy, but they were always there. During these hard times, they were very patient, especially when I kept asking the same questions over and over. They were always on point at every court hearing, mediation, etc. I was so so lost in the beginning and still might not understand it all, but they've always been so kind. Divorce can be difficult, but when you have a fabulous lawyer and great team who have you and your babies interests at heart, than that means you got a great one. She has also assisted me with my will and testament which was another weight off my shoulders. I want to say thank you Kathy and your team for all the help and kindness during my divorce, death, and will activities. I've never been good with words, but your whole team deserves a 10/10. You and your team went above and beyond in helping me. Thank you so much.

This woman should be disbarred for incompetence. Without going into detail; Kathy White totally botched a divorce case and let her client down. At times it seemed that she was working for the other side in this case. She did not follow through with several key issues that she was requested to do and let a key dead line pass. She even had the gall to continue billing after repeated emails went unanswered and until told twice by certified mail to stop. I cannot let this go unpassed without warning anyone who would consider retaining her. 5/6/25 Response to owner's response... Nothing in the review is untrue. It is a simple statement of fact and my own opinion. Your response to a review 8 months after it was posted; is telling of how you manage your business.

I have dealt with multiple family lawyers over the past few years concerning custody of my children, and none have been as effective as Kathy and her team have. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Her paralegals and her secretary’s were very quick to respond to any problems I had. My previous lawyer had been very hard to get in touch with when I had questions, and Kathy and her team were very involved and consistently contacted me with new information on my case. Even after hours they would take my calls and respond to emails. Kathy is very tough and does not waiver in the face of the opposing counsel. She is very reasonably priced based on the quality of work she provides. Kathy and the women that work for her are extremely hard working and dedicated to their client’s need. She is the only lawyer who I have hired that seemed to genuinely care about my children and I.
